A way to refinance assets 

Many operators, funds, corporate clients, HNWIs or family offices often hold assets they cannot dispose of.
They may be:

  • waiting for the opportunity to sell at the best possible price
  • awaiting liens granted on various assets
  • assets which need to be passed to the next generation
  • within a lock-up period, lackof liquidity or other regulatory obligation, which will delay the time for disposal

 

A solution is to transfer these assets to a securitisation undertaking which will be protected from risks inherent to their business.

Such an undertaking will then issue securities which will yield a return and the value linked to the assets.
