UE Commission to support the crowdfunding

A significant growth of Crowfunding in 2015

In a recent report on crowdfunding, the European Commission gave a clear picture of this increasing way of financing new projects.

In 2015, 4.2 billions were raised using crowdfunding, becoming thus one of the more important growth leverage for start up companies in Europe. And this situation continues to increase.

Platform of crowdfunding are present in all counties, even if UK is the most used place,  for  funds raised but also number of projects financed.

EU wants to promote this new way of financing projects and considers that it will become in the future a crucial source of funding for small companies and will help the development of innovative ideas of entrepreneurs and start-ups.

 

Several crowfunding platforms have already chosen Luxembourg, which flexible legislative framework offers several advantages  to start-ups and makes the country a good place to establish innovative companies .
